Hookbill the Goomba 06-14-2005 03:34 PM

Unfortunately, the lava served as more than enough fuel.

Kath 06-14-2005 04:14 PM

Fortunately the lava was spewing out of the wrong side and so directed the mountain back towards Frodo.

Parmawen 06-14-2005 05:54 PM

Unfortunately Frodo has mountainesphobia which is the fear of Mount Dooms, so he ran in the opposite direction, carrying the ring with him.

Vinyacoriel 06-14-2005 09:05 PM

Fortunately the ring had a will of it's own and wanted to go back to its master so it made Frodo turn around and go to Mount Doom.

Kath 06-15-2005 03:03 AM

Unfortunately this led to a rather amusing tug of war and resulted in the Ring flying out of Frodo's hands and onto the back of a passing troll.

Hookbill the Goomba 06-15-2005 04:33 AM

Fortunately, the Troll was run over by Mount Doom.

Gil-Galad 06-15-2005 07:13 AM

Unfortunately Frodo woke up again and realized that he was still in the cavern with no ring...

Hookbill the Goomba 06-15-2005 07:23 AM

Fortunately, he saw Sam running off with it and knew that Sam was not as fast as he was in a race.

Kath 06-15-2005 09:30 AM

Unfortunately Sam miraculously turned into a tortoise and, as we all know, the tortoise always wins the race, which he promptly did.

Meneltarmacil 06-15-2005 10:55 AM

Fortunately, the tortoise ran right into a stone wall, knocking itself unconscious.

wilwarin538 06-15-2005 02:25 PM

(whys that fortunate???)

Whatever

Unfortunetaly Tortoises are used to being nocked unconscious so it only lasted afew seconds.

Meneltarmacil 06-15-2005 02:27 PM

Fortunately, that was all the time Frodo needed to get the ring.

Hookbill the Goomba 06-15-2005 02:30 PM

Unfortunately, Frodo was distracted by a cake shop.

Meneltarmacil 06-15-2005 02:46 PM

Fortunately, the tortoise was devoured by a gigantic evil duck and dropped the ring.

wilwarin538 06-15-2005 02:49 PM

Unfortunetaly the tortoise wasn't seasened(sp?) to the gigantic evil duck's likings so he spat him out.

Meneltarmacil 06-15-2005 02:54 PM

Fortunately, the tortoise got stepped on by an Oliphaunt before he could get to the ring.

Kath 06-15-2005 04:16 PM

Unfortunately oliphaunts can't fit in small caverns so it got stuck, trapping the ring and Frodo beneath it.

Memory of Trees 06-15-2005 04:51 PM

Fortunately, Frodo was optomistic, thinking that the ring might be forever entombed by the oliphaunt's behind and never bother anyone again.

Larien Telemnar 06-15-2005 05:00 PM

Unfortunately, Frodo would also be forever entombed.

Parmawen 06-15-2005 07:57 PM

Fortunately, Sam (who had changed out of tortoise shape) had brought along a small-cave-survival kit, which contained Oliphaunt food to lure it out of the cave.

Gil-Galad 06-15-2005 07:58 PM

Unfortunately he read the instructions wrong and put the food over himself, thus making it eat poor poor delicous Sam...

...mmmmm gardener...

THE Ka 06-15-2005 11:05 PM

Fortunately, the Oliphaunt spat him out because he hadn't the stomach for such feet and they all (including the ring...) settled on singing I'll stop The world and Melt with You, in which at that time 'Smithy' (Robert Smith) appeared to lead them through the wonderful song...

~ Cure Ka

Meneltarmacil 06-16-2005 08:32 AM

Unfortunately, the cave collapsed due to all the vibrations caused by the sound.

Hookbill the Goomba 06-16-2005 09:34 AM

Fortunately, Frodo had escaped and was now chasing after the ring as it rolled down a hill.

Kath 06-16-2005 09:59 AM

Unfortunately the Ring rolled up the next hill and Frodo was too exhausted to follow it.

Hookbill the Goomba 06-16-2005 10:19 AM

Fortunately, it began to role back.

Kath 06-16-2005 10:22 AM

Unfortunately Frodo was passed out on the ground and the Ring rolled right back into his mouth and down his throat.

Hookbill the Goomba 06-16-2005 10:24 AM

Fortunately, he coughed it out and thus woke up.

Gil-Galad 06-16-2005 11:06 AM

Unfortunately Hookbill went into a coma and let other downers post the 'Fortunately' part...

The Elf-warrior 06-16-2005 05:21 PM

Fortunately M@P, Gandalf and Sam got out of the cavern alive.

Holbytlass 06-17-2005 07:29 AM

Unfortunately, Gandalf and Sam tripped over Hookbill the Goomba's comatose body.

(m@p, ma and pa?)

Kath 06-17-2005 08:27 AM

Fortunately this put them close enough to the ground to be able to see the Ring.

M and P - Merry and Pippin.

Hookbill the Goomba 06-17-2005 08:30 AM

Unfortunately, a beetle was running away with it.

wilwarin538 06-18-2005 03:29 PM

Fortunately beetles are very easily crushed, which is what happened, by a giant pink CUCUMBER!

Parmawen 06-18-2005 07:56 PM

Unfortunately the pink cucumber had been left out of the refrigerator for far too long and was beginning to rot poisonous...rottage?...all around the ring.

Gil-Galad 06-19-2005 01:03 PM

Fortunatley the animator for the Pink Cucumber had a fatal heart attack and the cartoon peril was no more...

Hookbill the Goomba 06-19-2005 01:11 PM

Unfortunately, it was too late for poor Sam.

Celuien 06-20-2005 02:21 PM

Fortunately, the Pink Cucumber's poison was easily counteracted by a sip of miruvor and a pat on the back, restoring Sam to perfect health (but also leaving him a little tipsy...).

Kath 06-20-2005 03:56 PM

Unfortunately in the meantime Gandalf had picked up the Ring and become a dark and terrible wizard.

Gil-Galad 06-20-2005 03:57 PM

Unfortunately thats what they told Sam, it is in fact much, much, much, much worse
