Meneltarmacil 06-10-2005 09:25 PM

Unfortunately, the Eagles were attacked by a huge alien spaceship with laser guns.

Hookbill the Goomba 06-11-2005 12:47 AM

Fortunately, due to a gross miscalculation in scale, the entire alien battle fleet was swallowed by a small dog.

Kath 06-11-2005 06:14 AM

Unfortunately the eagles were still sticking by that earlier vow and refused to take the Ring to Mordor as they thought it was 'Hobbit work'.

Gil-Galad 06-11-2005 07:49 AM

Fortunately Gil-Galad looked on with a smirk seeing how his post is affecting the future of this thread, he steals the ring from the eagles

Hookbill the Goomba 06-11-2005 11:15 AM

Unfortunately, he exploded.

Gil-Galad 06-11-2005 02:17 PM

Fortunately the fans were upset that Gil-Galad died so they brought him back never to die again

Hookbill the Goomba 06-11-2005 02:22 PM

Unfortunately (for Gil at least), the ring was far away by now and the Hobbits found it!

Boromir88 06-11-2005 06:51 PM

Fortunately (for Gil-galad) the hobbits lost it and he stumbled upon it again.

Kath 06-12-2005 12:21 PM

Unfortunately (for Gil) he stumbled over the Ring and fell headfirst into a never-ending chasm, never to be seen again.

and (fortunately) there was much rejoicing.

THE Ka 06-12-2005 12:34 PM

Unfortunately, in the great party that was almost never-ending, the hobbits, once again, lost the ring...

Hookbill the Goomba 06-12-2005 01:14 PM

Fortunately, a friendly figure in black armour and wielding a mace found it and brought it to the hobbits.

Gil-Galad 06-12-2005 04:13 PM

Unfortunately it wasn't Saurons Alter-Ego, Herbert

Meneltarmacil 06-12-2005 05:28 PM

Fortunately, it was really Tom Bombadil in an extremely strange mood. (Or is this "Unfortunately"...?)

THE Ka 06-12-2005 11:28 PM

Unfortunately, ( Yes, it is...) his friend, Travelosity's The Travelling Nome, stole it from him whilst he was in mid-verse of his ring ballad...

Hookbill the Goomba 06-12-2005 11:57 PM

I think you mean Gnome, Ka... :D

Fortunately, the Gnome was returning the ring to Frodo and the others.

Kath 06-13-2005 05:17 AM

Unfortunately the Nome (have you never read Terry Pratchett Hookbill) was too small to be seen by the Hobbits and they stepped on him by accident.

Meneltarmacil 06-13-2005 08:52 AM

Fortunately, in doing so, they noticed where the Ring was.

Unfortunately, Aragorn showed up and distracted the hobbits, leaving the ring to be stolen by bats!

Kath 06-13-2005 11:03 AM

Fortunately bats don't like to fly in the daylight and so nested in Aragorn's hair.

And Hookbill Pratchett is as good if not better than Douglas Adams.

Meneltarmacil 06-13-2005 11:33 AM

Unfortunately, Aragorn's hair hadn't been washed in several weeks and smelled so bad that the bats flew off.

Parmawen 06-13-2005 05:59 PM

Fortunately the bats flew by Gandalf, who angrily put a curse on them which removed their opposable thumbs, thus they dropped the ring...

Holbytlass 06-13-2005 06:40 PM

Unfortunately, in a steamy pile of bat guano!

Hookbill the Goomba 06-13-2005 11:49 PM

Fortunately, Gandalf had some gloved with witch to pick it up.

Kath 06-14-2005 06:59 AM

Unfortunately these witchy gloves had a mind a of their own and after picking up the Ring they slid off Gandalf's hands and ran away.

Gil-Galad 06-14-2005 07:03 AM

Fortunately they ran right over the volcano and into Mount Doom, thus destroying the ring

Kath 06-14-2005 07:08 AM

Unfortunately, Frodo then woke up and realised that it had all been a dream and the Ring was still there!

Meneltarmacil 06-14-2005 07:15 AM

Fortunately, he was right next to Mount Doom.

Hookbill the Goomba 06-14-2005 09:09 AM

Unfortunately, Sauron had formulated a plan for this eventuality… Mount Doom had Wheels!

Boromir88 06-14-2005 10:36 AM

Fortunately the motarized mount doom blew it's engine.

Kath 06-14-2005 12:08 PM

Unfortunately, as it had moved a little before it blew the engine, poor Frodo was now back at the bottom of the mountain.

Morsul the Dark 06-14-2005 12:35 PM

let me try ne here

Fortunatley Frodo Convinced the alien eating dog to carry him back up the mountain

Kath 06-14-2005 12:40 PM

Unfortunately the alien eating dog disappeared as suddenly and mysterious as he had appeared and Frodo fell to the ground and knocked himself unconscious.

Morsul the Dark 06-14-2005 12:43 PM

FortunatelyGandalf who appears randomly *in scene 24 with beautiful acting* is able to revive him

**An homage to monty python holy grail(for those who didnt relize it at first

Hookbill the Goomba 06-14-2005 01:26 PM

Unfortunately, by now, Mount Doom was fixed and fast riding off into the sunset.

Celuien 06-14-2005 01:42 PM

Fortunately, the driver was pulled over for speeding by the Mordor Highway Patrol, giving Frodo time to catch up to the mobile volcano.

Hookbill the Goomba 06-14-2005 01:55 PM

Unfortunately, The Mordor Highway Patrol was corrupt and let the Mountain drive on.

Meneltarmacil 06-14-2005 02:54 PM

Fortunately, Frodo had a super-fast sports car and caught up to it.

Hookbill the Goomba 06-14-2005 02:59 PM

Unfortunately, it was not an environmentally friendly car, for it had a huge engine and only went 1 mile to the gallon. So naturally, he stopped pretty soon and Mount Doom rolled off into the distance.

Meneltarmacil 06-14-2005 03:02 PM

Fortunately, Mount Doom also ran out of gas.
