I said he and I meant he and it is you Americans who have awful spelling. But he is most definitely not American. He is not any combination of leaf and silver and has been active much more recently. Months not years. Though this post is old.

mormegil 11-11-2005 08:17 AM

Got it!

Osse!

Post is found here

Mithalwen 11-11-2005 01:31 PM

Yes, the owner of perhaps the cleverest screen-name of them all.... :D

mormegil 11-11-2005 01:42 PM

This is probably too easy but oh well

Faramir said that he would not pick up the Ring of he saw it lying in the road. Well, that's just great. He would just leave it for the next Orc or Ringwraith that happened to wander along. He is clearly not a strategic thinker.

Sleepy Ranger 11-11-2005 01:45 PM

mormegil 11-11-2005 01:47 PM

Cheeky eh?

Sleepy Ranger said this here I thought it was from another game but I was wrong at first.

Sleepy Ranger 11-11-2005 02:37 PM

Indeed Mormy. It be your turn now. ^_^

mormegil 11-11-2005 02:50 PM

When Feanor drew his sword on Fingolfin, that was actually a very good thing.

Rune Son of Bjarne 11-11-2005 03:09 PM

HA, saw that one yesterday, It is the phantom

mormegil 11-11-2005 03:44 PM

Man, I'm giving the real difficult ones aren't I?

Rune Son of Bjarne 11-11-2005 04:01 PM

Pure luck mormegil, normaly I can't remember who wrote it.

Fortuanetly I this one stuck in my mind for a bit longer than usual.

ok here is a new one:

You see this is exactly what I was talking about. To this alliance, you are not special unless your ears are pointy

Mithalwen 11-13-2005 10:53 AM

Cheeky - that is mormegil, in the LOTR Survivor..

Rune Son of Bjarne 11-13-2005 11:34 AM

:D

Your of course right Mithalwen.

Mithalwen 11-14-2005 03:01 PM

Thanks try this..

Whenever I'm in a stuck I just look at the necklace, and then decide what would elrond do.

mormegil 11-14-2005 06:30 PM

If I remember correctly Boromir had a sig like that and therefore I think it is him.

Boromir88

Boromir88 11-14-2005 06:57 PM

Actually, mormegil, I had the idea of the "What would Elrond do?" but never had a sig on it. Hmm...I know I've seen this one, but I forget which WWED I inspired...

I'm thinking Saucepan Man right now.

Mithalwen 11-15-2005 06:36 AM

You are going to have to fight over it boys. It was Boromir but not in a sig. It was in the thread "Are you a bttr person?"

Or maybe not fight just search your souls and think "What would Elrond do?"...

Boromir88 11-15-2005 07:00 AM

That's pretty embarassing, other people no more about what I write than I do. I can't believe I completely forgot that that was me who said it, haha.

It's yours mormegil

mormegil 11-15-2005 08:03 AM

Sorry about that Boromir.

The Arkenstone cannot be seen as theft, of course, being stolen to avert a needless war.

Have at it.

Sleepy Ranger 11-15-2005 08:06 AM

Thats TGWBS, isn't it? I think it was in a thread about Hobbits or such.

mormegil 11-15-2005 08:11 AM

Yes he and I had a grand banter session about Samwise the Great and Bilbo the petty thief.

Sleepy Ranger 11-15-2005 02:44 PM

Yes Evisse it is correct and your turn it is.
No Evisse its not your turn unless you can figure out who said it to you. :)

Evisse the Blue 11-17-2005 12:16 PM

Heh, I'll venture a wild guess and say it's you who said it to me. :p

Evisse the Blue 11-17-2005 12:26 PM

:D Thanks

How about this one: (it's a signature):

Quote:

I'm hearing images,/I'm seeing songs/ no poet has yet ever painted

mormegil 11-17-2005 12:46 PM

Dimturiel

Seen him/her (??? sorry) in Palantir a lot lately.

Evisse the Blue 11-17-2005 01:26 PM

Her. :) Yes it's Dimturiel's. Well done, your turn. :)

mormegil 11-17-2005 01:31 PM

Thanks for the clarification. I assumed but didn't want to state it.

Take especial note of the sentence I have underlined

Glirdan 11-17-2005 09:14 PM

Sounds like another Werewolf quote. Time to do some digging, again.

Mithalwen 11-22-2005 03:30 PM

Sounds like Eomer to me ...

mormegil 11-22-2005 03:35 PM

Mith I agree it does sound like him but it is not...sorry :)

Rune Son of Bjarne 11-22-2005 03:48 PM

ok I had some time to kill and I found the quote. (hope I have not broken any rules)

It is Formendacil , right ?

mormegil 11-22-2005 03:49 PM

Correct and no you didn't break any rules but I usually like the thread to be listed with it but not a big deal at all. :)

Rune Son of Bjarne 11-22-2005 04:01 PM

of course, it was that warg thingy. . .eeh, I have forgoten allready!

Although essentially an immobile organic computer

random choise. . .

Alcarillo 11-22-2005 07:07 PM

Nilpaurion Felagund, perhaps? In the How do you imagine other BDers thread?

Rune Son of Bjarne 11-22-2005 07:14 PM

perhaps ? Dont you know for sure. . .

You are of course correct Alcarillo. It was too easy was it not? I will make an effort of finding a great quote next time, then.

Alcarillo 11-22-2005 07:19 PM

Thanks!

And your quote was perfectly fine, although "immobile" and "organic" are not often used on the Barrow-Downs and so are rather easily found via search engine. Now for mine:

So my name means "opposite of multiple cats"
