Gil-Galad 06-08-2005 06:59 AM

Unfortunately they still had eyes and could see the hobbits in a corner

The Only Real Estel 06-08-2005 09:24 AM

Fortunatley it was a group of other hobbits & the fortunate hobbits were far, far away.

Hookbill the Goomba 06-08-2005 10:04 AM

Unfortunately, as they entered what looked like a peaceful place, THE DRAGON CAME!

Maikadurwen 06-08-2005 11:00 AM

fortunately the dragon was only one of gandalfs fireworks.

Hookbill the Goomba 06-08-2005 11:20 AM

Unfortunately, it was heading towards them! *Dramatic music*

Celuien 06-08-2005 12:01 PM

Fortunately, it was too far overhead to hit the hobbits and just made a lovely display as it exploded.

Memory of Trees 06-08-2005 12:21 PM

((I apologize for the two "unfortuantes" back there. Kath and I cross-posted...))

Unfortunately, Frodo sprained his neck from staring at the sky for too long.

Vinyacoriel 06-08-2005 09:44 PM

Fortunately, the hobbits had a cast to wrap his neck in

Hookbill the Goomba 06-08-2005 11:49 PM

Unfortunately, it was infected!

wilwarin538 06-09-2005 06:19 AM

Fortunately Merry's parents had forced him to go to medical school.

Hookbill the Goomba 06-09-2005 06:40 AM

Unfortunately, he always sneaked out of lessons and learned nothing.

Holbytlass 06-09-2005 08:07 AM

Fortunately, Frodo's vaccinations were all up to date so he couldn't catch the infection.

Hookbill the Goomba 06-09-2005 09:16 AM

Unfortunately, Pippin did get infected... with the Plague! or was that plaque?

Vinyacoriel 06-09-2005 09:20 AM

Fortunately, Pippen only had plaque, not the Plague.

Hookbill the Goomba 06-09-2005 09:32 AM

Unfortunately, it was a man-eating plaque!!!

Bungo Baggins 06-09-2005 01:59 PM

Fortunately, Pippin was a hobbit, not a man and was safe.

Hookbill the Goomba 06-09-2005 02:24 PM

Unfortunately, it did not know the difference between a Hobbit and a Man.

The Only Real Estel 06-09-2005 06:02 PM

Fortunately, man-eating plaques die when they try to eat things that aren't men, so that took care of that.

Meneltarmacil 06-09-2005 06:22 PM

Unfortunately, an evil giant snake thing named Bob appeared and started eating everything in sight.

The Elf-warrior 06-09-2005 06:29 PM

Fortunately Gandalf came to the rescue and killed the snake.

Meneltarmacil 06-09-2005 06:32 PM

Unfortunately, the evil giant snake thing named Bob (who happened to weigh about 50 tons or so) fell on the Hobbits, squishing them.

The Elf-warrior 06-09-2005 08:05 PM

Fortunately Gandalf was not crushed.

Larien Telemnar 06-09-2005 08:47 PM

Unfortunately, the Hobbits were.

Maikadurwen 06-09-2005 08:53 PM

Fortunately those were just cardboard standees of the hobbits that were crushed. The actual hobbits were hiding behind a rock.

Larien Telemnar 06-09-2005 09:12 PM

Unfortunately the phone book got eaten by a rabbid rabbit.

Hookbill the Goomba 06-09-2005 11:52 PM

Fortunately, this was not important. So the Hobbits and Gandalf rode off into the horizon... aww, aren’t they sweet?

Meneltarmacil 06-10-2005 04:17 AM

Unfortunately, they rode right off a 1000-foot cliff.

wilwarin538 06-10-2005 06:18 AM

Fortunately, our 1000 feet is only 1 inch in Middle-Earth.(everyone's giant there ;) )

Gil-Galad 06-10-2005 07:01 AM

Unfortunately it was Their 1000-foot cliff(thats a big cliff)

Hookbill the Goomba 06-10-2005 07:38 AM

Fortunately, they landed on a trampoline.

The Only Real Estel 06-10-2005 10:20 AM

Unfortunately, they landed in the middle of the trampoline - where there was a giant hole.

Hookbill the Goomba 06-10-2005 10:44 AM

Fortunately, the ground was incredibly soft and they were unhurt.

Meneltarmacil 06-10-2005 01:30 PM

Unfortunately, the reason the ground was incredibly soft was because it was actually quicksand, so they started sinking.

The Elf-warrior 06-10-2005 03:38 PM

Fortunately some eagles rescued them.

Gil-Galad 06-10-2005 04:22 PM

Unfortunately both the eagles and the hobbits sank in the quick sand, and the eagles vow never to help the hobbits again...

Vinyacoriel 06-10-2005 04:46 PM

Fortunately, the quick sand was only a doorway to an underground cave, so they didn't drowned in the quick sand.

Kath 06-10-2005 04:47 PM

Unfortunately due to the earlier vow of the eagles the Hobbits are now stuck inside then cave.

The Elf-warrior 06-10-2005 06:03 PM

Fortunately Merry had a ball of string.

Meneltarmacil 06-10-2005 06:44 PM

Unfortunately, it vanished into thin air for absolutely no reason.

Gil-Galad 06-10-2005 07:22 PM

fortunately so did the ring, but it and the ball of string transported to the eagles, so it was now the eagles quest to deliver the ring while the hobbits rot
