Ok, I'm really rubbish at riddles (maybe I should try alliterative verse!)

was my other name.
A worker of metal
In Gwaith-i-Mirdain.
A craftsman supreme,
I created the three.
I was slain by the Dark lord
And passed over the sea.

Ooh, Ooh, I know, I know!!!!

Was it Celebrimbor? Was it? Was it? Whee!

(Too much sugar makes Horse-Maiden crazy.)

Was it Feanor?(hopeful) cos you know, three silmarils [img]smilies/smile.gif[/img]

The sugar seems to be working Horse-Maiden, it was indeed Celebrimbor [img]smilies/smile.gif[/img]

Raci...The Three refers to the Elven rings...but good guess with the Silmarils.

We fought a quite long time ago
We welcomed dwarves (with reluctance!)
A wizard
And hobbits!
Who are we?

Gandalf and Bilbo,or Gandalf with Frodo, Sam, Merry and Pippin?

Oh, maybe I should word it differently...now that I read it over it doesn't sound the way it's supposed to...

I'm very nitpicky on this one. Elves it is, but from where?

could it be elves from Lothlorien? after all they did try to blindfold Gimli...and they seemed to look to Gandalf, though he was not there.. and they welcomed the hobbits as well

Is it the elves from Rivendell??
