I like gothmog but not treebard I say we get rid of him. Im a wight.

Celuien 09-21-2005 06:38 AM

I would like to get rid of Pallando, but I'll save that for another day.

++GOTHMOG

For all the reasons given above. And he's too good a leader for the Orc tribe. His insipid speeches have actually kept Grishnakh and Ugluk from fighting each other long enough to launch raids on the rest of the island.

Lalaith 09-21-2005 06:47 AM

Actually I think getting rid of all movie travesties would do this island a world of good so:

++GOTHMOG

I think I'll have a look at Faramir next.

Alcarillo 09-21-2005 07:59 AM

++Celeborn

Not that it will do anything.

Nilpaurion Felagund 09-21-2005 08:44 AM

Ahem.

Let me put my vote in a different way, to help you realise why he has to go:

++Teleporno

Obviously, with a name like this, the guy has to go.

:eek:

Really, Nilp. How can the son of Finrod join this attack on the Elves?

Mithalwen 09-21-2005 10:15 AM

something tells me Tolkien had a very innocent mind...

To the pure all things are pure.....

And it is a lot better than Shagrat.... :p

Formendacil 09-21-2005 11:41 AM

Well, back to my Pallando-pillaging, since Celeborn-captures appear to be a poor sport...

++Pallando

the guy who be short 09-21-2005 01:26 PM

++Pallando.

Interesting story. I was pondering the "WWJD" bracelets you see around when I thought to myself: What would Pallando do? The answer is obviously run off into the East and abandon his tribe. Not good.

Boromir88 09-21-2005 01:31 PM

I'm gonna go with Thranduil today. I don't like the guy and considering Legolas is out...all Thranduil does is make profit off of others. He just sits around on a pile of his jewels all day and gets fat off people feeding him all the coconuts.

++Thranduil

Votes go...

Gothmog- 8
Celeborn (aka Teleporno)- 3
Thranduil- 3
Boromir- 1
Radagast- 1
Lobelia- 1
Pallando- 1
Treebeard- 1

mormegil 09-21-2005 02:43 PM

Alas it looks as though today will not be the day for rejoicing however I will stick to my vote--

++CELEBORN

And I thank you Nilp for adding that wonderful post.

Kath 09-21-2005 02:46 PM

*shakes head* Teleporno :rolleyes:

++CELEBORN

Mostly in amusement!

the guy who be short 09-21-2005 02:47 PM

I believe Pallando has two votes...

Can he have a bonus one for you not noticing that? :p

By the way, Boro, this is incredibly fun. Please have a Silm Survivor afterwards...

Formendacil 09-21-2005 02:57 PM

You said we could....

--Pallando

++Celeborn

Folwren 09-21-2005 03:16 PM

Yes...you did say.

--Boromir

++Celeborn

Boromir88 09-21-2005 03:21 PM

tgwbs, he did, I must have cross-posted with you when I put them up. Now he has 1 again as Formendacil took it back.

Rune Son of Bjarne 09-21-2005 03:26 PM

Hmm

+ + Gothmog

Well guess why . . .

WaynetheGoblin 09-21-2005 03:27 PM

--treebeard ++celeborn

Celuien 09-21-2005 03:27 PM

A despairing appeal...

To all good citizens of Middle-earth:

My friends, the Shadow rises again. Dark forces are at work on the Survivor island. And how can I see this? In a horrifying move, many otherwise good folk are attempting to protect a foul beast of Mordor, the hideous pink movie-Orc Gothmog. And how do they seek to aid this monster in his evil deeds? By attacking one of the truest defenders Middle-earth has had against Sauron and his cruelty. Celeborn, Lord of Lorien, fairest of the Elf-realms remaining East of the Sea. And what has he done to deserve this enmity? Nothing, other than to inspire loyalty and courage in his followers, to exist in an equal partnership with his wife, Galadriel the Ringbearer, and to look really, really good with his beautiful silver hair. Can we allow this travesty of justice to occur? I hope not.

Boromir88 09-21-2005 03:27 PM

Disaster has been averted. For one more day.

Boromir88 09-21-2005 03:48 PM

I made a mistake in the counting. After being informed, I went back and recounted (several times mind you) and the score ended in a tie. Meaning, bye-bye, Gothmog, AND Celeborn.

After a sad Departure and valiant stand of surving elimination after elimination Celeborn exits...soo..

My brothers in the Celeborn Camp, we put up a good fight, but alas we have finally been defeated, but we shall not allow this injustice to go unpunished, We must protect the shipwrite with all that is in us, never let them remove Cirdan like they did to Celeborn.

mormegil 09-21-2005 04:05 PM

Not being in the mood for another battle I will vote

++Thranduil

I must congatulate the anti-Celeborn camp and Pro-Sam camp on their hard work to get this wonderful victory. We have shown this alliance that they can't always push us around.

Edit: I must give kudos to Folwren for her unwearying leadership in this effort. :smokin:

Gil-Galad 09-21-2005 04:15 PM

++Elrond

Alcarillo 09-21-2005 04:15 PM

Victory!

Celeborn has been eliminated! And an ugly pink orc!

Congratulations to the the other anti-Celeborners. It was a fun fight, especially the clandestine stuff.

And pro-Celeborners, I must say that your defense of Celeborn was impressive.

++Radagast

He just wanders off into the forest each day saying that he's talking to the birds. He must be crazy.

Celuien 09-21-2005 04:25 PM

Celeborn is gone. I weep for the injustice that exiled him. Fare well, my old friend, and may your journey bring you better fortune than you found here.

Now to find a new rallying point.

Thank you, old fellow. I may have been unwearying during the fight, but now it's over, I tremble with the exursion. I just about blew up in poor Boromir's face when I recounted myself and found it to be even...I'd thought he cheated us on purpose. Good chap recounted and evened it out for us. Thanks, Boromir.

As for me, I shall withdraw from the game. I count Sam as avenged, for I have both rid the island of Bilbo and Celeborn.

Farewell, all.

-- Folwren

P.S. If you have any bones to pick with me for leading this band against Celeborn, write me so that I'm not clueless. And mind that it wasn't Glirdan's fault.

Ignore that. I was the leader in the attempt to be rid of Celeborn. But I could not have done it without the help of Folwren. If you have anything to say, say it ot both of us. I can't let you take all the blame friend.

I will not withdraw from this, yet.... I have people I need to protect but I will not attack any Elves for the time being, unless it's Thranduil.

My vote will be...

++Radagast

For reasons I've stated yesterday.

Being a leader means unwavering commitment to the cause. You changed your vote away from Celeborn every day. Therefore Folwren was the leader, I'm afraid.

It's more complicated than what you see in posts Kitanna. It goes into PM's between myself and Folwren and others. Yes, she is the leader for getting revenge for poor Sam, but I was going for Celeborn for how long now??? Go back and see how many times I voted for him. I changed once to help Folwren get rid of Bilbo for her payback on TGWBS. And yesterday was a ploy to lure everyone into a false sense of security. And I must say that it almost failed but worked out in the end, which I'm happy for.

Formendacil 09-21-2005 05:06 PM

For the moment, I will obey the hypnotic dictates of Davem's signature, and forget that I was ever a member of the Anti-Elven League, and return to attacking...

++Pallando

Seriously.

Oh, yes, Kitanna. It's much more complicated than all that. Glirdan did pretty much zero down our attack on Celeborn. My only target at first was Bilbo, but Glirdan so wanted Celeborn gone that I figured I could do that as well.

But as for him changing his vote - he only voted for Bilbo that once, and that was fore me, and for whoever he voted for yesterday, but that was for a plot that had to be made in order to get Celeborn off. It barely worked, but it worked all the same.

As for me not taking all the blame...ah, I'll take it. I don't mind too much. That's half the best part of causing tons of trouble. I couldn't live with myself if I was never made to pay for all the things I did. ;)

And I may take back the comment about leaving the game...I've been asked to stay. I'll have to see what I want to do.

Uchiha Itachi (the guy on my avvie) did it.

Enedwaith, new target. Hey, what about we multiple-vote-out the entire Wizard tribe in one sweeping fall? (Or was it another way around? :rolleyes: )

Come now, Milord Felagund! How do you expect to oust ANY wizards when you go dividing up the vote like that? Thranduil is easily competing with any of them. If you certainly want a wizard removed, then you ought to decisively join a bandwaggon. Radagast has good odds, certainly, but I would rather draw your attention to my own peccadillo: The Anti-Pallando Society (TAPS).
