Yea! Wise questions may now commence.

Gil-Galad 01-05-2006 01:42 PM

Is it Alive?

Tuor of Gondolin 01-05-2006 01:46 PM

Is it Alive?

No.

Gil-Galad 01-05-2006 01:47 PM

Is it One of a kind?

Firefoot 01-05-2006 03:57 PM

An object?

Telchar 01-05-2006 04:03 PM

Is it a man?

Tuor in Gondolin 01-06-2006 09:45 AM

Is it Alive? #1
No.

Is it One of a kind? #2
Well...yes, I imagine you'd say so.

An object?#3
No. It's not a physical object.

Is it a man? #4
No.

I believe the questioning can go beyond twenty,
but I thought I'd number them to see how close
to 20 questions this takes. :)

Gil-Galad 01-06-2006 12:33 PM

A word(or words) spoken?

NightKnight 01-06-2006 01:13 PM

Is it an event?

Firefoot 01-07-2006 07:46 AM

A place?

Tuor in Gondolin 01-07-2006 09:23 AM

A word(or words) spoken? #5
Yes. (Good guess). :)

Is it an event? #6
Yes. It's an integral part of an event.

A place? #7

Lindolirian 01-09-2006 10:33 AM

Said by a hobbit?

Dimturiel 01-09-2006 12:23 PM

Is it what Aragorn says at the corronation ("Et earello Endorenna utulien...")?

Tuor in Gondolin 01-09-2006 03:02 PM

Said by a hobbit?
Yep.

Is it what Aragorn says at the corronation ("Et earello Endorenna utulien...")?
Nope.

Btw, since three questions above were essentially
repeats, I figure the actual number of
questions asked (it's only of academic interest)
is 10.

Lindolirian 01-09-2006 03:13 PM

Said by a Ringbearer (Frodo or Sam)?

Tuor in Gondolin 01-09-2006 03:21 PM

Said by a Ringbearer (Frodo or Sam)?
Hmm. A tricksy question. Rather like
demanding three guesses as to what The Baggins
has in its pocketses. However, the
answer is: Yes. #11.

Lindolirian 01-09-2006 03:43 PM

Well that's the point isn't it? To get as much information out of the least number of questions? It was still "yes or no". But I was rather hoping you would have said "No" so that I didn't have to ask which one. But perhaps we'll wait on that.

Was it in the Two Towers?

Firefoot 01-09-2006 05:13 PM

Tuor in Gondolin 01-10-2006 07:08 AM
