Rochelle 02-08-2003 12:53 AM

I would have to say Ian McKellan.

Hirilaelin 02-08-2003 12:58 AM

I think Rochelle got it.

Samwise 02-08-2003 03:48 PM

Nope to the first and the second answers, I'm afraid.

Eruwen 02-08-2003 04:02 PM

You know, that really does sound like Sean Astin. Actually, I thought I heard Sean say that one time. But I'm going to go with.....Peter Jackson?

Samwise 02-08-2003 05:25 PM

Eruwen, methinks you are too good at this game. It was Mr. Jackson, who had a "bit" part as a Breelander.
Your go.

Eruwen 02-08-2003 06:10 PM

Cool! I got one! Ok, here's the next quote. You may find this one somewhat easy if you know anything about the person.

Quote:

"its not just my tongue thats bad. my spleen once stole 100 dollars from a 7/11"
It is someone speaking on himself/herself being bad. I thought it was funny.

Samwise 02-08-2003 06:14 PM

Eh...? 'Fraid I don't know 'bout the person, so I'll say...uh...

Brad Dourif?

Eruwen 02-08-2003 06:34 PM

Nope, sorry.

Rochelle 02-08-2003 06:55 PM

Elijah Wood or Dominic Monaghan?

Eruwen 02-08-2003 07:04 PM

After this reply the quote will be all too easy to guess. But I'll give it to the first person who posts the answer.

Rochelle, can you be a little more specific on which one you want to pick?

I hate giving away quotes like that so easily. If you all are somewhat smart, then you will see what my point of this reply is.

Samwise 02-08-2003 07:06 PM

Dom?

Gorwingel 02-08-2003 07:19 PM

I personally would have to say with those two choices it would have to be Elijah, because he is American, and I don't think there is any 7 eleven's in England (though I could be mistaken, I didn't see any when I was there though)

Eruwen 02-08-2003 07:21 PM

Actually, Gorwingel, it was Dom. I guess there could be 7/11's in England. Or maybe he stole it while in the US. Anyway, Samwise, it's your go!

I hate giving away quotes like that. It's more fun to see people just keep guessing and guessing...well, you get the point.

Gorwingel 02-08-2003 07:59 PM

Darn, I considered that Dom could have done that in the US, but I just though it would be most likely Elijah.

Samwise 02-08-2003 08:29 PM

Wow yet again! I didn't even think a bout the no 7-11s in England thing. Anyway....

Quote:

This was something I hadn't done for years and years and years!...If it had been any other film, I wouldn't have done it, but some opportunities you don't turn down!

Rochelle 02-08-2003 08:36 PM

Aww...I don't get to post my quote? *sniffs* sad...

Frodo Baggins 02-08-2003 09:49 PM

Actually Sam, Brad Dourif was a good guess, 'cause he's American too.

Ok Sam I'll bite, Christopher Lee/ He;s old enough to be 'years and years'.

Samwise 02-08-2003 10:17 PM

Mr. Frodo! Hullo!
And you would be right. Say on, sir.

Frodo Baggins 02-09-2003 07:52 PM

I got it right? WOW! *does a little hobbit dance*
hmmm ok I can't find the quote I want to use but I'll TRY to quote ver batim.

"When I think about a ham sandwich, it's usually prety good."

For a hint, the actor/actress is talking about their acting.

Rochelle 02-09-2003 08:15 PM

I am going to go with Sean Astin...

Frodo Baggins 02-09-2003 09:00 PM

Nope. Try again.

Eressië Ailin 02-09-2003 09:02 PM

uhhhhh.... Billy Boyd?

Rochelle 02-09-2003 09:32 PM

*still trying to make sense of the quote...hmmm*

How about Sean Bean? *wild stab...*

Samwise 02-09-2003 10:12 PM

Hm. I can't make heads of that sayin', nor tails neither. Um...was it Orlando Bloom, sir?

Frodo Baggins 02-10-2003 07:10 AM

Not making sense hm? Well I do not know if this is help but the actor was talking about making their acting look good without going overboard and they said,

"If I think about a ham sandwich, its usually pretty good."

Its a funny quote made by someone with a good sense of humour, which is surprising when you consider who they play.....

ooooooo Hints all over the place!

And no, none of you are right....yet

Hirilaelin 02-10-2003 03:12 PM

Viggo! Viggo Mortensen! Am I right? Cause, Aragorn is pretty humorless... Most of the time anyway.

vanwalossien 02-10-2003 03:38 PM

Hugo Weaving? Elrond always seemed quite serious.. By the way, aren't there 7-11s in the UK? We even have them in Norway..

Eruwen 02-10-2003 03:54 PM

Um, wow, that is a hard one. Uh, the guy who plays Haldir...Craig Parker?

Frodo Baggins 02-10-2003 05:47 PM

Nope. keep guessing. I'll give you another hint, the actor plays a human. That's ALL I'm going to day.

Eruwen 02-10-2003 06:03 PM

Ok, well, I'm going to pull a Samwise and say...Brad Dourif?

luin'loki 02-10-2003 06:28 PM

Quote:

Uh....(ick)....Orlando Bloom?
Did you mean that as an insult?!Where did you get that pic?I wanna see it...

luin'loki 02-10-2003 06:37 PM

Sorry if it's already been said but..
Quote:

"We have this thing,me and *****.We start digging at each other.** says something and I reply,'Well,at least I don't stink. And at least I'm going to live forever,so.And you can't ***** an ***** like I can.At least I'm going to live *******.Got that?Live *******!'
who said it and where?

Rochelle 02-10-2003 07:15 PM

Frodo Baggins...maybe Karl Urban said it?

Frodo Baggins 02-10-2003 08:42 PM

Eruwen got it, Brad Dourif said it. He really does have a nice sense of humour. But you don't think of Grima with a sense of humour.

Gorwingel 02-11-2003 12:44 AM

Who's quote are we supposed to answer? I'm confused!
Though the answer to luin'loki's quote is Orlando Bloom from the Extended DVD.

Eärendil 02-11-2003 06:12 AM

It´s Eruwen´s turn to post a quote.

Rochelle 02-11-2003 08:54 AM

Real quick question...where on the extended DVD did Orlando Bloom say that? I swear I've watched it over and over (including that secret scene!) and don't remember it Any help is great!

Eruwen 02-11-2003 11:36 AM

Cool. Ok then, here's the next one...

Quote:

"This can only help me; it can't hurt me, If it's successful, it can only open more doors to allow me to do what I want. I loved being part of `Lord of the Rings.' It's an important part of my life. It means so much more to me than books or films. It is life and friendship and passion and love for me."
It is quite easy. But you can start guessing now.

Dark Shadow 02-11-2003 02:07 PM

Would it be Elijah? I only say that because of the opening doors thing...

Hirilaelin 02-11-2003 02:12 PM

Liv Tyler? Don't know why I said that...
